Structural Welder
Pay: $23/hour
Shift: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 3:30 AM (Occasional Saturdays)
Location: Sapulpa, OK
Weld Test Required: 3G MIG/Flux Core, T-Plate
Job Type: Temp to Hire

Position Overview:

We are hiring a skilled Structural Welder for a safety-sensitive position in Sapulpa, OK. This role involves hands-on fabrication using various welding methods and material-handling equipment. Ideal candidates will have solid welding experience and a commitment to safety, quality, and craftsmanship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Utilize appropriate welding techniques for structural steel fabrication.
• Calibrate and set up welding equipment per Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS).
• Perform tack, fillet, and full-penetration welds on structural joints using GMAW and FCAW processes.
• Clean and grind welds as needed for proper finish and integrity.
• Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks, and dollies to position equipment and materials.
• Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections.
• Inspect welded materials for defects and ensure all work meets specified standards.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and quality assurance procedures.
• Promptly report equipment or product defects to the supervisor.
• Exhibit professionalism and maintain safety awareness at all times.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year welding experience and/or completion of a welding certification program .
• Proficiency in setting up and operating various welding and cutting tools, including oxygen/fuel gas and plasma cutting equipment, and AC/DC welding machines.
• Ability to pass the required welding qualification test .
