The Sr. Manager Technical Product Management plays a pivotal role in optimizing business outcomes through strategic HCM technology solutions. This position involves guiding the assessment, planning, and implementation of HCM technologies to foster an agile and analytics-driven environment. Accountabilities & Responsibilities Leadership - Defines product portfolio vision, strategy, roadmap, and backlog. Collaborates across teams to solve complex business challenges and provides technical leadership. Assess HCM Technology needs, evaluate McDonald's HCM technology requirements and align them with overall business objectives. Drive and Influence Innovation - Presents and influences company technology solutions for innovative outcomes. Stakeholder Engagement and Partnership - Partners with senior leaders and technical managers to align on long-term strategy viability. Communication and Business Acumen - Uses effective communication to keep stakeholders informed of technological advancements. Explains complex strategies to non-technical stakeholders and collaborates across teams for alignment on priorities and deliverables. Market Analysis and Competitive Intelligence - Stays updated on market trends, competitor offerings, and industry best practices. Conducts research to identify opportunities for innovation. Data-Driven Decision Making - Uses data analytics and feedback to make informed product decisions, track performance metrics, and improve user engagement and satisfaction. Problem Solving and Decision Making - Breaks down complex problems into simple solutions using strong, data-driven judgment. Continuous Improvement and Feedback - Promotes continuous improvement through feedback from customers, stakeholders, and team members to refine product strategies. Qualifications 10+ years of technical product management or relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree or 8+ years relevant experience with a master’s degree. Experience leading technical teams and Agile self-managed teams that manage a strategically important product and/or a suite of products. Experience in influencing senior executives (VPs, SVP, CxO), and setting expectations for major cross-functional initiatives.
