Job Description

Position: Special Education Associate Attorney

Billables: 1800 hours

Bonus structure

* Marketing Incentive Plan for the origination of new business
* Bonus Plan for hourly benchmarks
* Discretionary Bonus

Bonus that can range from unless it is a very good experience. Salary can increase quickly if they are good, however experience drives pay We provided origination fee for clients brought in by attorneys. 20% of receipts received in year one and 10% in year two

If attorneys hit their hourly minimum 1800 hours, they receive a $3000 bonus, if they hit 1950 hrs. they receive a $5000 bonus.

MUST HAVE - Specifically handling Special Education & School Law

What You'll Do:

You'll counsel and represent public school districts on a wide range of legal matters, including:

* Special Education Law ( IDEA, Section 504 - minimum 3 years' experience required)
* Student Rights, Policies & Discipline
* School Employment & Labor Law
* Construction & Facility Planning
* Financial Solutions for Districts
* Collective Bargaining Negotiations
* Governance for School Boards & Administrators

Ideal Candidate Profile:

* J.D. from an accredited law school
* Active Pennsylvania bar license
* 3-5 years' experience in education or public sector law
* Must have 3+ years of Special Education law experience
* Excellent writing, advocacy, and problem-solving skills
* Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
