Marketing Intern Wanted: If You’ve Got The Eye, We’ll Teach The Rest

You know when something just  looks good. The lighting. The angle. The vibe. You may not have the fanciest gear or a marketing degree, but your instincts are usually right. That’s what we care about.

We’re Candid Collective. We make real content for real businesses. This isn’t a "sit in the corner and observe" internship. You’ll be in it, learning how to make stuff people actually want to watch, click, and share.

What You’ll Actually Do:

• Help create photo and video content that doesn’t feel like stock footage
• Assist on shoots (yes, you’ll be holding a camera — no, you don’t have to be Spielberg)
• Help write captions, posts, and emails that sound like an actual human
• Come up with ideas that we’ll actually listen to
• Sit in on brainstorms, give your take, learn how marketing really works
• Learn how campaigns go from idea to execution (and why half of them fail)

What You Actually Need:

• An eye for what looks good (if you’re the one your friends hand the phone to for photos, you’re halfway there)
• Curiosity and a brain that asks “why?”
• You take feedback and actually apply it
• You’re not afraid to try new stuff
• You show up, take notes, ask questions, and get better

Bonus Points (Not Required):

• You’ve made content for yourself, friends, or random side projects
• You play around on Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
• You’ve got some editing experience (even on your phone)
• You’ve ever thought “why did that ad work on me?”

Who This Isn’t For:

• People who need to be told what to do every five minutes
• People who want to “just observe”
• People who think creativity comes from playing it safe
