RN Nurse Manager Neuro Trauma – Portsmouth, NH

• Compensation : $46.50 - $69.75 per hour, based on experience
• Location : Portsmouth, NH
• Position Type : Permanent, Full-Time (No Weekends)

Position Overview :
We are looking for an exceptional RN Nurse Manager to join our Neuro Trauma Unit (PCNT) team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Director of PCNT to provide leadership and direction to the entire team, ensuring the delivery of exceptional care to critically ill patients. You will work with staff, physicians, and other hospital disciplines to maintain a safe, high-quality healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities :

• Patient Care & Operations :
  • Monitor the delivery of high-quality patient care and evaluate optimal patient outcomes.
  • Manage daily operations, including scheduling, patient rounding, and ensuring patient and family satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams, including the PCNT Director, educator, resource nurse, and physicians.
• Leadership & Compliance :
  • Provide leadership in employee performance evaluations, counseling, and ensuring compliance with regulatory agencies.
  • Offer guidance and support in maintaining a culture of safety, quality, and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications :

• Education :
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
• Licensing :
  • Registered Nurse (RN) License in New Hampshire or valid Compact State License.
• Certifications :
  • BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross).
  • PCCN, TNCC, and TCAR Certifications (preferred).
• Experience :
  • Minimum 3-7 years of acute care nursing in a critical care environment, with supervisory experience in neuro trauma.
