WCS Healthcare is urgently seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a state of the art health care system in Neptune, NJ

Job Function :

\n

• Night Shift.
\n
• 3x12: 7pm - 7:30am.
\n

• Reviews patient records, including admission details, current respiratory care orders, medical history, physical exam findings, PFT values, ABG results, and lab data.

  \n
\n

• Sets up and maintains respiratory equipment as directed; attends departmental meetings and in-services as required.

  \n
\n

• Performs patient assessments to monitor the effects of therapy and documents findings in the patient chart.

  \n
\n

• Carries out prescribed therapeutic procedures to maintain adequate oxygenation and airway patency, including humidification.

  \n
\n

• Obtains and analyzes arterial blood gases (ABGs) as ordered and in accordance with policy.

\n

Job Requirements :

\n

• 2 years of clinical experience.

  \n
\n

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license

  \n
\n

• Registered with the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).

  \n
\n

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

  \n
\n

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required.

  \n
\n
