About the Role: We are seeking a dynamic and versatile entry-level Business Analyst with at least one year of professional experience to join our team. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to immerse themselves in our company culture. The Business Analyst supports operations by combining experience in finance and data analysis to support strategic decision-making within McGohan Brabender.
Key Responsibilities: - Data Maintenance and Updates :
- Maintain data sets and monitor data quality.
- Troubleshoot database issues to ensure data integrity.
- Data Extraction and Analysis :
- Extract and analyze financial data from various sources.
- Develop metrics and models to evaluate business performance.
- Reporting and Visualization :
- Create dashboards and visualizations to communicate key financial insights.
- Prepare detailed reports for senior management and stakeholders including departmental and geographical cost allocations and income statements.
- Financial Modeling :
- Assist in building and maintaining financial models to forecast business outcomes.
- Conduct scenario analysis to assess potential financial impacts.
- Collaboration :
- Work closely with finance, IT, and other departments to gather requirements and ensure data accuracy.
- Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic planning and decision-making for senior management and internal teams.
- Documentation :
- Maintain documentation of processes and methodologies used in analysis.
Skills and Qualifications: - Technical Skills : Proficiency in Excel (Microsoft Suite). Knowledge of Salesforce CRM is required.
- Analytical Skills : Strong ability to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings clearly.
- Financial Acumen : Understanding of corporate finance principles and practices.
- Problem-Solving : Ability to identify issues and develop effective solutions.
Education and Experience: - Bachelor's Degree : In Finance, Business, Data Science, or a related field.
- Experience : 0-2 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or corporate finance.
Work Environment: - Tasks are closely managed under the supervision of senior personnel.
- Work involves limited complexity, focusing on support and learning opportunities.
